Service was excellent and the Pines Bistro served great food at reasonable prices. Clean and roomy. Bathroom was roomy and very clean.

service at check-in poor; queue was very long - manager could see it & did not assist desk girl to help process this "peak" time. We found this quite irritating.

Asked for non-smoking but received smoking room. Cigarette stubs on balcony!

Warm and friendly reception received from front desk to house keeping. Great room, with an excellent beachfront view.

Porter very good,receptionist very good .Very poor night manager on our complaint of noise although he said it was very bad and he had no other room although nothing else offered,Complained again to the morning manager and he he did override the night managers decision to make a refund and offered $50 for both nights .We were not impressed not very professionally handled This room faced the road and night club.Both nights were extremely noisy mostly the night club band.Hotel said it was worse than normal.Room is also not sound proof enough for that side of the hotel

I didnt use any of the facilities - but I am sure they are first class.

the deal that we had was fabulous. i would love to go back. if similar deals become available we would love to hear about them . i have told may of our friends about the deal we received and they in turn would also like to take advantage of such offers. the room was fitted out beautifully. it was very comfortable.

Needed a sauna/spa in the pool area. The shower sprayed a lot of water onto the bathroom floor. It was a bit dangerous but only if you were not paying attention. Otherwise great.

Staff were very helpful, but had to wait too long to register First class-quiet and restful

for 2 adults and 2 children (with additionnal bed ) the room was too small, so we accomodated in 2 double rooms

The location of the hotel was fantastic, conveniently placed across the road literally, from a 24-hour service station, coles supermarket, bus stops as well as take away food stores. Comments on the room are as mentioned above. The in-house dining was delicious. The facilities were fantastic and the pool was breathtaking. The only change needed to be made to the pool area is to have a lot more sunbaking / banana chairs. Most importantly, to say the service at Rendezvous was excellent is an enormous understatement. The lovely gentleman that would deliver our in-house dining was more than polite, extremely friendly and hospitable. The concierges were fantastic. In particular a man named Adrian who attempted to help my partner and I find a car to hire; a young man named Ben who rang local police stations and the taxi company we had used when my partner realised that he had left his mobile phone in the car. The most pleasant of all, was a young gentleman name! The room itself was o good standard incorporating everything needed for a holiday. However, my partner and I thought that the bathroom needed a huge makeover as it almost looked cheap and very outdated and the same also applies to the reception.

Great service - no problems at all....will definately be returning. Very impressed - have stayed there before the renovation and enjoyed the room much better.

Extremely happy with this hotel.

There was some considerable noise from youths outside one the nearby beach late into the night on one night of our stay. Not a fault of the hotel but could affect its reputation.
