Our greating was very good and staff all helpful. We complained on day 2 that our internet power cable was missing and asked for it to be replaced, on our 3rd telephone call to find out what was happening (over 7ish hours) we were told that the hotel was busy and they did not have a cable available. which was a problem for us as we had just flew into country and needed to sort some personal details out, were told that we would use the computer/ business area, but it was very busy and did not want to be talking about personal things in front of strangers.. Our other problem was that the evening restarant was not very child friendly and not much choice, i can say that out of the food available we didn't eat much, all the hot food was just a room temp and not hot... so to pay for 2 adults and 1 very small child to eat - not alot- was a big rip off.. Other than that everything was clean, nice rooms and helpful otherwise.

Hotel in convenient location. staff are courteous and helpful and rooms clean enough but dont think facilities warrant a 4 star. Xmas buffet was excellent.

We were extremely pleased with Holidaycity.com and the Rendezvous Observation Hotel. Location was amazing. Facilities were good. Loved the pool on the 10th floor - out of the wind and so clean. Bar staff were lovely.

If there is one complaint, I would just say that the airconditioning was on too cold. Our room was freezing and we could not get the cold draft to stop. That was the only issue.

However it did not ruin our stay. We enjoyed our stay so much we even came back for two nights at the end of our holiday - 15 & 16 January - as the other hotel we booked was not good.

Check in was incredibly slow. Only two clerks on the desk and a queue of at least ten people. The lack of Internet facilities in the rooms is simply unacceptable, particularly for business people. I know there is coverage in the foyer but that is not convenient. Television coverage is pathetic - Foxtel virtually non -existent! Very poor! Hotel well located for recreation and restaurants in area. Not convenient for business however.

Seal around sliding door needs to be fixed as wind whistled through all night.

Though clean room looked a little "tired". Door to refridgerater cabinet was damaged.

Savannah's was a thoroughly enjoyable restaurant. Very nice shower!

Found that the room was very noisey at night, as the door patio door kept rattling during very strong winds.

This very good hotel is spoiled by the general untidiness and shabbyness around the pool area. For the four days we were there two towels remained on the low roof of the bar area, easily visible and not difficult to remove. A daily inspection by the manager would not be amiss. The staff throughout the hotel are always polite helpful and keen to make your stay enjoyable.

WE ASKED FOR DIRECTIONS ONE MORNING TO ADVENTURE PARK UNFORTUNATELY THEY SENT US TO MANDRAH 40KM AWAY THAT WAS A WASTE OF DAY. THERE WINDOWS IN THE ROOM WHERE VERY DIRTY. WHILE ON OUR STAY THEY DID NOT CLEAN THE BALCONY AREA EVER.

A newsagent or chemist within the premises would have been handy. To be classed as a 5-star hotel, it would have been better if bathrobes and slippers, a room safe can be provided.

Having stayed in many 5 star hotels, this hotel did not meet the general standard and service offered by 5 stars. The overall feeling was that the hotel was run for the benefit of the staff and not the guests! Many of the facilities of the hotel were taken over by outside functions during our 10 day stay. The Ocean Bar, which is featured on your website in the description of the hotel,is now not available for guests and is purely used as an outside function room. The internal hotel bar (which has no windows) closed at 9.00pm and apart from the mini bar in our hotel bedroom, it was not possible to buy a drink after this time which was not very convivial especially being the Christmas period. On Christmas Day the bar and restaurants were shut by 9.00pm! We, in fact, missed the Christmas Dinner Buffet (which we had previously paid for) due to arriving in the restaurant at 9.10, to be told that it was now closing! We did obtain a refund from the hotel on check-out but it was not an ideal end to Christmas Day!! Luckily we had had a Christmas Day Lunch so did not go to bed feeling too hungry! Spacious, attractively furnished bedroom. However, outdated television set with limited viewing - CNN not available. We were not able to obtain any news of U.K. events and to revert to our own radio.

The room was pleasantly large for our family of 4. Much more space than anticipated and very comfortable.
