there was building work going on during my stay, which was very disturbing to my stay the carpet was very dirty

Foriegn man in a forigen land. While I'm sure there were tons of things to do there, the hotel didn't have much in the way of tourist information.

Staff was very helpful. They gave us a complimentary bus tour of Hong Kong which we did not think we would use but it came in handy on the third rainy day! They also gave us complimentary return bus to the airport. Location is a little remote for seeing the city but the KCR station is only a 5 minute walk and a 20 minute ride to Tsim Sha Tsui. One disappointment - the concierge failed to tell us that the horseraces do not allow kids under 18 - he put us in a taxi and sent us on our way. Obviously he did not know this but it was a big waste of time and money for us - and the prime reason we stayed in ShaTin. We were upgraded to Regal floor with 2 large connecting rooms overlooking the river. One had king bed one had twins.

The service on reception was exceptional this included concierge I requested for housekeeping everyday. The room was kept tidy and the bathroom was topped up with clean towels and toilet roll.
