This hotel was recommended by a resident of gugangzhou as being value for money, convenient and close to the city.
i found the hotel to be all what i expected for the price of my accommodation which included a very good buffet breakfast.
... if one desired one could have sufficient food in the morning to last through the day until dinner in the evening and this would of course suit families on a budget.
the room was sufficient for my needs and comfortable. the bed was firm to hard by western standards but i found i did get a good nights sleep.
the hotel's amenities were good and well priced. the restuarant was well laid out and the food was very good. staff were attentive without being overbearing and spoke english. they wanted to make you stay as pleasant as possible.
the only thing that i do find off-putting is that within most restaurants in china and asia, patrons do tend to smoke and visitors from australia might find this offensive - as did i. however, this is an acceptable practice i believe within asian countries.
having said this, i did enjoy my stay and would recommend this for families and business people who want a hotel that offers value for money.
