The only complaint would be the temperature control in the room we had. The windows were drafty and the room would cool quickly and the only way to keep it warm was to have the heater on which was too warm at night. We warmed it before bed and that was better. I found the staff very hospitable and they helped me a lot with wi fi which I found difficult to institute and download, and I lost a ring which they are going to mail me when I called. It was turned in by housekeeping and this made me sure to come back again. The location was perfect for our visit.

The female staff are helpful. But the males are not! They need to smile! The hotel is not in the downtown area. You need to catch a bus or a skytrain (15 min) to go to downtown. Caught a bus (no. 19) going to Metrotown shopping center and the fare is cheap (CAD 2.50). The bus stops just a few steps from the hotel (2 minutes walk). The hotel is next to the Grocery store and you can do your own groceries which is very good! During my stay, I asked the female staff (the Chinese one) to book me some sightseeing tours and she was very helpful and friendly too! Westcoast sightseeing tours does pick-up and drop offs from the hotel which is very convenient, so there is no need to catch skytrain or bus.
