I stayed at the Ramada for the first time thinking that, as a Ramada, it would be a decent place. The room was filthy...stains on the lamp shades, broken chairs, dirty floors but the absolute worst was finding a used tissue in the pillow slip!!! The sheets had obviously NOT been changed since the last visitor!!! And for this I paid money! I've had better rooms in third world countries where I expected to 'slum' it a bit. I will never stay at the Ramada Ltd in Calgary's Motel Village again.

My wife and i hae stayed at this ramada several timees now and find the rooms very clean and comfortable, the staff was very helpfull at giving directions to events in the city and for imformation on the transit.we do come to calgary about 3 or 4 times a year and will stay there again.

One night a drunk 20 something guy pounded on my door at 2:30, demanding to be let in so he could have his beer. I was rather freaked out as he had woken me out of a deep sleep and I could see through the peep hole that he was big and belligerent. I called the front desk. That fellow was up the stairs in about 5 seconds and was very skilful in talking the young man into going with him down to the correct floor to find his buddies. I was impressed.

The room was small, but servicable. The pool was small, but the kids enjoyed it very much. The location of the hotel was convenient, only a block's walk from the C-Train, city buses and McMahon stadium, and 3 blocks from UoC.

Although this hotel was a little further from the airport than I would have preferred, my room was warm, clean, and comfortable and the staff were very courteous and helpful. The only downside was that the wireless internet in my room had very poor signal strength so it was difficult to get email and access my company's network.

HOTEL SHOULD AT LEAST HAVE A BUSINESS CENTRE WITH A PRINTER, FOR EXAMPLE I WAS STUCK AND NEEDED TO PRINT A DOCUMENT FOR A TEST, THE FRONT STAFFF COULD NOT HELP ME, THEY DIRECTED ME A 24HRS INTERNET CAFE THAT WAS NON -OPERATIONAL
