A short walk and we were Harbourside another short walk and we were in the City. The well-groomed staff were very friendly and professional and the Hotel clean and comfortable. We would certainly stay at this accommodation again on our next visit to Auckland and recommend it to our friends.. A very comfortable room, relaxing and quiet. A pleasure to return to after a busy day.

Thank you very much. For an economic double room it was huge. The room was also very warm although it had no windows, but for me it that was ok.

Reviewer: ryan garcia Date of review: 1 August 2005 Recommends this hotel: NO Room Hotel Facilities 4 Bed 1 Ambience 4 Cleanliness 1 Service 3 Room Size 3 Location 4 Amenities 4 Value for Money 2 the front desk people were very nice and helpful, but may have influence the housekeeping personel to rush through the cleaning process. we arrived at our stated arrival time, however our room was not ready...i think that they saved time by not washing our sheets when preparing our room. we found a couple of hairs in the sheets, and i had a bite on my thigh and my girlfriend had a bite on her hand. these bites turned out to be scabies and we had to spend 50 dollars on medication and go through a decontamination process twice. the whole experience put quite a damper on our holiday and we will not be using your services again. please investigate the rooms and the cleaning services at the sail city hotel to insure that no one else has to go through what we did. any response can be sent to crownedprincess612@hotmail.com, or garsha63@hotmail.com. thank you, ryan garcia.
