The internet access is free which is great.

walls are too thin, I could hear the next room using the shower and toilet thru the whole night, as well as clear conversation

We were initially confused as to where we should enter the hotel and I took the wrong door up stairs to a landing with mattresses and other like things stacked. Very confusing!! Also, the hotel seems to have 2 names! The view out the window was of one of the maintenance areas - airconditioners, fridges etc. - very poor!

People at the front desk were not really cool. The room was a little small and we had not a window. It was not really pleasant.

The room was dark and the carpet wasn't very clean.

people in the reception are not that friendly at all. at once, when I enquire why internet wasn't working, they just said it's not working!!!. didn't bother to find out why it's not working or give an alternative. felt like I was in a government agency looking for free benefits.

There was a rowdy lot of Chinese (?) making a dicket=ns of a racket from 1 a.m till 4 in the morning!! Was very disappointed that for the budget price you only give a room without any windows!!!

Being our first visit to Auckland we were delighted to find that the Sail City Hotel was within easy reach of all facilities. A short walk and we were Harbourside another short walk and we were in the City. The well-groomed staff were very friendly and professional and the Hotel clean and comfortable. We would certainly stay at this accommodation again on our next visit to Auckland and recommend it to our friends.. A very comfortable room, relaxing and quiet. A pleasure to return to after a busy day.

Location is excellent and excellent value for money friends were impressed with room aswell.Next time I travel to Auckland I will book into your Hotel. Thank you very much. For an economic double room it was huge. The room was also very warm although it had no windows, but for me it that was ok.

the front desk people were very nice and helpful, but may have influence the housekeeping personel to rush through the cleaning process. we arrived at our stated arrival time, however our room was not ready...i think that they saved time by not washing our sheets when preparing our room. we found a couple of hairs in the sheets, and i had a bite on my thigh and my girlfriend had a bite on her hand. these bites turned out to be scabies and we had to spend 50 dollars on medication and go through a decontamination process twice. the whole experience put quite a damper on our holiday and we will not be using your services again. please investigate the rooms and the cleaning services at the sail city hotel to insure that no one else has to go through what we did. any response can be sent to crownedprincess612@hotmail.com, or garsha63@hotmail.com. thank you, ryan garcia.

room was spacious but basic

Everything was great except that it was easy to hear hallway noise-doors closing etc.

I loved it! It was really warm and inviting. Though it would be nice to have Sky in the rooms.

In general we liked the room.

some lighing switches are too high. had to climb the chair to reach them. as i checked in earlier than promised I was given bed with window but not really for sight-seeing cos the scenery was the back staircase. requested iron was not given. perhaps i was expected to request again due to change in room. on the whole okay for a strict budget stay in developed country.

Internet access unreliable. No shut off for air conditioning when the room became too cool.

There is no eating outlet in the hotel. There is free internet service all day long. Guests will not be charged if they keep their surfing session to 20 minutes duration per slot. There is no ironing board in the room. Ironing of clothes has to be done in a laundry room located on Level 3. The hotel is located within walking distance of Sky Tower and the Intercity Bus Terminal. There is standalone heater next to the bed. Amount of heat can be controlled. Airconditioning is centralised.
