Jazz music for breakfast is not everyones cup of tea. Willingness to please was excellent but the application poor. We broke a glass in the room bar and informed the reception. The next morning it was still there and we informed the duty manager who immeditely sent up 2 people to fix a light and clean up the glass. The broken glass was left there for the duration of our stay (until Monday morning). We also noticed that after the room was made up one day there was a dirty teaspoon left on the bedside table. You have an excellent hotel and your front staff are all trying very hard to make things perfect - but, the back-up is letting the side down. Also please ask the people who are cleaning up early in the morning not to speak with very load voices as I was woken up on 2 mornings by shouting and laughing.

Travelling in business I missed a desk where to work.
