Quest Christchurch located in the heart of the commercial, arts and tourist precinct of Christchurch, offers 70-quality Studio, One, Two & Three Bedroom apartments in one of New Zealand's truly unique complexes.
The purpose built property is "on" the inner city Tram loop, and features a mix of new and heritage architecture including the largest glazed atrium in the South Island of New Zealand. Incorporated in the complex, is a variety of retail shops, cafes and restaurants. Quest Christchurch guests will also have access to onsite car park (chargeable).
Quest Christchurch opened in January 2004 providing the standard suite of Quest Services. Each Apartment has available, Qantas Frequent Flyer points, breakfast packs, restaurant charge back and pantry shopping.
Quest Christchurch is a quality Five Star Qualmark rated property, offering Guests a pleasantly spacious and comfortable Apartment alternative to the standard hotel room, quite often, for less than the price of a hotel or motel room.
At the apartment's front door, the guest can hop aboard Christchurch's famous tram for a tour of the inner city. Stops include the Arts Centre, Worcester Bridge (next to the Avon River) with its traditional punts and trendy cafes, the boutique shops of New Regent Street and Cathedral Square. Or stop off for a flutter at Christchurch's famous Casino.
Despite widespread damage to the Buildings in the CBD area; the Quest Christchurch Complex itself stood up to the Earthquake particularly well. The structural integrity of the building has not been compromised and the damage we have sustained is predominantly cosmetic.

Recommendation: By Mrs.Joy Morrison Australia Hello
we especially like quest christchurch because of its location. We also liked our apartment because we wanted quiet rooms and , although our room faced the covered tramway , it was so quiet we could have the verandah door open.
reception ... staff were always courteous and helpful - we asked for a firmer mattress for one bed and they did their best to oblige without naking us feel silly or a nuiscance. We needed the firm mattress because one of us was recovering from a back ailment.
we were surprised that there appeared to be no link between quest christchurch and quest dunedin? we expected to be able to do onwards bookings through christchurch reception.
again, reception were competent and professional in giving us the 'bad news' about no onward bookings without being defensive in either their verbal or non verbal commumication. Well done!
we also liked having an internet terminal in the foyer, as we weren't carrying our laptop.
thank you! we enjoyed our stay so much, we also stayed at quest dunnedin.
thanks again

Recommendation: By Mr.Lee Motby United Kingdom The hotel has a perfect location just behind the cathedral in a new development. That is where the good things about this hotel end.
on trying to check in at 2pm we were told that our rooms would be ready in 5-10 minutes, however it took ... them over an hour to finally have the room ready whilst we waited around in reception - and they were not willing to allow us to stay on after the 10am check out time to make up for the late check in.
the rooms are nice and large but the loud construction works going on outside put pay to any lazy mornings in bed.
i wouldn't reccommend this hotel as i feel it is overpriced for the amenities available and the staff aren't very helpfull.
