| From SFO, PENINSULA to the QUEEN ANNE:Exit SFO airport to highway 101 north or 280 north toward San Francisco. (280 is less congested and more scenic). If using 101 north, there will be a another exit for 280 north as you get closer to San Francisco. Turn onto 280 north and exit at 6th street. Follow 6th street (which becomes Taylor after crossing Market) to Sutter and turn left. The Queen Anne Hotel will be nine blocks up at Sutter and Octavia.
Alternate directions from Hwy 101: (Frequent Heavy Traffic). You may also exit 101 at ninth street/civic center. Stay in left lanes. After crossing market, 9th street becomes Hayes street. Follow Hayes three blocks and turn right on Franklin. Go 11 blocks on Franklin and turn left on Sutter. The Queen Anne Hotel is two blocks up on the right at Sutter and Octavia.
From SAN JOSE:
Take 280 all the way, exit 6th street/Taylor to Sutter. Turn left on Sutter. The Queen Anne is nine blocks west at 1590 Sutter and Octavia.
From SACRAMENTO, NAPA, EAST BAY, OAK AIRPORT to the QUEEN ANNE:Make your way to the Bay bridge directly from interstate 80 or the 580. From Oakland Airport use the 880 to the 980 to the 80 (follow "San Francisco" signs). Once over the Bay bridge, exit at ninth street/Civic center. Turn right on 9th and stay in right lanes. After crossing Market, continue on Larkin to Sutter street. Turn left on Sutter. Queen Anne Hotel is 5 blocks up on the right at Sutter and Octavia.
From GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE to QUEEN ANNE:
From the Golden Gate bridge and hwy.101, exit on Lombard and 13 blocks to Van Ness. Turn right on Van Ness and go 15 blocks to Sutter street. Turn right on Sutter and the Queen Anne Hotel will be 3 blocks up on the right at Sutter & Octavia.
From QUEEN ANNE to SFO, SAN JOSE /BAY bRIDGE, EAST BAY.
Take Sutter street one block east and turn right on Gough. Stay on Gough until it crosses over Market street. Follow signs to entrance of hwy. Take 101 south to SFO/Peninsula or to Bay bridge (interstate 80).
From QUEEN ANNE to GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE:Take Franklin down to Lombard and turn left. Follow Lombard to 101 north and the Golden Gate bridge. |
