The reception and concierge staff ... were very helpful, and well versed in english ofcourse. However, the crunch comes in the 'value for money'. The 'cost-cutting' was too evident: no room slippers, no complimentary bottled water, no iron box, no bottle opener. . . . . ! paying over euro300 per night, you would generally expect little more "aesthetical class" in the hotel decor, some strains of parisian architectute / glamour, and even in the attire and facilitated services. Frankly, when compared, it was not any different from ordinary 5-star hotel in us where you'd probably pay usd 200 per night for the same.
