Very polite and helpful reception staff. Convenient location for exploring Queenstown, close to shops, restaurants and cafes. The rose garden adjacent to the hotel is an excellent walking/jogging venue. Though choice of breakfast was suffiicient, quality however was moderate.

WE HAD A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY IN NEW ZEALAND AND USED QUEENSTOWN AS A BASE FOR OUR ACTIVITIES. THE NOVOTEL WAS IN A VERY CONVENIENT LOCATION AND THE FACILITIES WERE EXCEPTIONAL. WE ENJOYED EATING AT THE HOTEL WHEN WE WERE TOO TIRED TO GO OUT. THE FOOD WAS MOST ENJOYABLE AND THE SERVICE WAS VERY GOOD. WE HOPE THAT WE CAN RETURN ONE DAY.

We stayed at the Novatel before and after the Milford track and it was perfect! The staff was very gracious -- upon our return we were given the same room where our stored luggage was already waiting for us upon arrival. It included two expensive, custom-made Panama hats that were stored without hat boxes and were in perfect condition upon our return.

The property is close to everything and we had beautiful views of the lake. For good fun with friends, try your hand at the Frisbee golf course in the nearby park

We found this hotel to be in an excellent location, a few minutes walk to the shopping centre, a few metres to the water and an easy walk to the beautiful gardens on the shore of the lake. During our two days stay, we were able to walk to all of Queeenstown attractions, and not use the car at all.

The hotel's facilities were excellent, with a friendly staff.

Highly recommended.

We were unaware that the hotel was undergoing a major renovation when we booked and had it not been a prepaid booking, we would not have stayed.
It will obviously be a splendid hotel when finished, but it isn't at the moment.

Small rooms, near the road, not one of the better rooms. Lucky for the short trip and really didn't matter for most of the time was spent outside.

One of the cheapest options in queenstown and central to the 'CBD'. Awesome views of the surrounding mountains and lake from the dining room. Excellent servicing of room at all times

The Novotel Gardens is in the centre of Queenstown and really close to some good cafes and bars. The Gardens are also close and great for a wee stroll. You are right on the Lake front so you can appreciate all that Queenstown has to offer.

Beautiful scenery, beautiful garden. Towels that were used weren't taking away although new towels were given. Shampoos used weren't given a new bottle. Otherwise good.

Internet out of action for several days

Completed feedback form from previous guest had been left in room and not replaced with a new blank one. Had requested King size bed but ended up with 2 doubles.
