Pensione is ideally located for a long stay or short stopover . Close to all public transport systems around the city, travel to the suburbs, for country connection and importantly access to the skybus to the airport..

Staff were courteous and polite. Payment needs to be clarified. My husband had given his credit card details for payment when he made the online booking for me and we were under the impression that payment was thus made. However, on checking out, I was told to make payment, which I did. I am still unsure whether payment was made during the online booking, and if so, whether we had made double payment. Please confirm whether full payment was made during online booking, and whether we had made double payment. Thanks

The bathroom is very small, and has no lock. It is a sliding door and most of the times , it slides back. Suitable only for singles and couples. Bathroom is very small and only slim person can take bath. The claening of room is only making the bed. No cleaning at all. Only one tiny dustbin is provided in the bath room. In the bedroom no dustbin. Only location of the hotel is good.

Newly renovated hotel in marvellous location, literally minutes walk from Southern Cross Station and the CBD. Our room was very small but hey we were in Melbourne to be out and about and this hotel was ideal and by central Melbourne standards, reasonably priced. Good value

Good location short walk to most things in city and to train station small for price but it was Austrlian open week.

Use lighter colour carpet, makes the room brighter and larger.

For the price I would have thought the room would be bigger..I had a view of the back courtyard and could hear the parties at the local pub.

Very friendly staff. Poor guy in the bar was swamped. Perhaps a quick look at local events would enable better planning of staff and closing times. Bed was a little small, but did the job.
