Hotel itself is a bit rundown although neat & clean. Breakfast was well cooked & plentiful. Staff very nice. Stairs are a bit of a problem as there is no lift. The rooms are clean & cosy the beds are very comfortable. Shower beautifully hot with good water pressure.

The hotel is very well located and within short walking distance of Hyde Park. It is off the main road hence traffic noise whilst audible was not a problem and easily blocked out. The reception staff are very friendly and very accommodating and adaptable to your specific needs. We stayed in 2 rooms. One was on the top floor the other was on the ground floor. As this hotel has no elevator we found the room on the ground floor to be a lot more convenient as we were travelling with a young child. This room also had french windows which opened out onto an outdoor area which was very pleasant. The shower area is very small but there is a separate toilet and a small entrance hall into the bedroom. It was a very pleasant room in which to stay.

Excellent breakfast in every way. We look forward to it for a whole year. Thanks for everything. I already recommended it to my students who also loved it. Thanks for evreything. The bathroom door was an inconvenience but i guess that is unavoidable when buildings are restored and refunctioned.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Like all hotels in London it was expensive for what it provided. Had thought the room had a bath, in fact it had a shower and a communal bath was available.

Excellent breakfasts! Lots of exposed pipes in the bathroom, not well maintained. Cracked plaster, etc.
