The location-Superb!! Recommendable for families with kids, no need to take public transport to go major shopping centres. Most of them are are just walking distance..Overall hotel-very good. Front desk staff was courteous and helpful. Room Service Food--A**, tried the hainanese chicken rice and the fried rice set..a real value for $$$... Will definately come back again to this hotel during my next visit to KL. Keep up the good work and continue to be the best...don't just stop there :)

Firstly, its an old building which is newly renovated i suppose, the lifts were old and slow and the lobby isnt as grand as what a 5 star hotel should have. For a mere 30 more ringgit, we could have stayed in Marriot which is better loacted, opposite of the new shopping centre Pavillion and right besides the busy starhill area while parkroyal will require a 5 mins walk. i stayed in both hotel before, i could say, for 30 ringgit more, i wouldnt mind choosing Marriot hotel over parkroyal, which afterall doesnt live up to a 5 stars standard. The service of the reception was fair, given that they agreed to change us to a non smoking room. At first we were given a smoking room, which contradicted what we selected online. The staff did not ask us for our choice, probably i don't look like a big guest. But for the other guest on the neighbour queue, i heard they were ask whther they want a smoking or non-smoking room. Nonetheless, they changed for us upon request which dint disappoint me so much. Afterall, if you have a choice of other hotels which is near that area, though slightly expensive, the location and other amenities will satisfy you more than Parkroyal does.
