Was hoping for a view of Hagley Park as I understood from the website but that was not what we had. Breakfast was very good. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

My shower was at 6.20am - not exactly peak hour, so I would have expected a lot more pressure than came through the taps. Other than that, it was a good value for money hotel in an excellent location for business.

It's an easy walk to shops, museums, parks restaurants and public transport is at the door. Rooms are spacious and sound proof; views are good too. Staff are always helpful and accommodating. Across the road is the Casino. Just remember that you have to pay for parking; $20 a day.
