This was a great hotel for the price. Room service did not get my order right the first time but quickly handled the situation.

It is a quiet spot and I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

Hotel staff were courteous and friendly. Room was fairly spacious. However, on one of the nights, it was rather noisy.Noise came from a lounge on the 7th floor with live music . I was on the 7th floor. But the next day it stopped. Taxis are easily hailed from the streets. Short drive to most places.

Staff are generally courteous but would usually not conform to what has been agreed and coordinated online with the travel agency.

Appreciated the non-smoking room on our first visit. Did not have a non-smoking room on our second visit but the room smelt fresh and clean.

Please note that the hotel was under construction.

Its amazing and worth paying for. I loved the Mehfil Lounge night club and the restaurant on the mezanine floor! I loved it, It was just perfect.

hotel is in a very central but quiet location. could not explore the bar and the night club due to the tight schedule. No individual thermostat for Aircon, just a sliding Louver to either open or close the vent.

Room was good. I must say value for money. Staff is gentle and service oriented. Ambience is great (frankly speaking I liked it better than some more pricey options)

take care because the rooms at the first floor are on top of nigth club. It is impossible to sleep before 3.00 AM .also they forgot to wake me up one morning . air condition were in big trouble. floor was dirty ; realy unpleasant

Apart from the issue of noise we had a great stay. For budget accommodation (GBP60 per night per room) we would return to Palm Beach if we knew we could have a quiet night sleep. The location is great for a short walk to places of interest in Bur Dubai and a little further to Diera. It's also not that far (or costly) to other places of interest via taxi such as Jumeirah and Sheikh Zayed road. All staff were very helpful, though they did not tell us about certain services they provided such as free transport to the public beaches. I must say, that whilst in Dubai, due to the stress of lack of sleep because of the noise we did check availability of other hotels but there were no vacancies. We were disappointed that as a good will gesture we were not offered discount for our stay. Our first allocated room on the top floor as requested (as advised on Trip Advisor to evade the noise of the nightclub on the ground floor) was unsatisfactory: very dated, especially the bathroom; looking onto a public sun terrace; smokey; and adjacent to the hotels Indian restaurant with strong food smells. We were then allocated to the fifth floor ? large room, clean and non-smoking. However, we were kept awake until 1am due parties in the restaurant above us ? granted it was Eid ul-Adha, though the hotel staff knew we requested a quiet room and we were not told about such parties. Our third and final room on the fourth floor was like the fifth - very satisfactory, however, the noise from the nightclub kept us awake until 3am! Again, we (along with others) reiterated our concerns but we felt no room would suffice so settled for earplugs. A requested reduction in the room rate due to the noise disturbance could not be honored but they provided complimentary breakfast and transfer to the airport. In short, I think the hotel needs to decide who is priority - hotel guests or visitors to the nightclub? Despite our problems with noise, all staff were very helpful in trying to address this problem but could not manage to turn the volume down! The quality of the rooms in relation to the price is good, we could not expect anymore for the room rate paid. It's a shame that the noise level may hamper the success of the hotel.

Basic Hotel, you got what you paid for. Very diappointed with the room. Air con very old fashioned style and no control when it was on. Had to ask for an iron and hairdryer. The hairdryer did not always work. The shower was not very powerful and not that hot. The room did not have many lights. One of the power sockets did not work. The window did not seem to lock.

During my stay, the TV channels were not working and several times I complained but to no avail.

It was far better, than i expected for a 3 star hotel. Especially after experiencing a 3 star hotel in Singapore. So for a 3 star hotel it was really good.

The air-conditioning was so strong that it blew all the curtains on the other side of the room around. It was so noisy that we couldn't sleep. I called the reception and they turned it off for a few hours but then it came on again at 5.30am and they said the one control, controlled the whole floor. I think there needs to be a control for each room. Vey tired the next day.

The breakfast food was pretty bad. Everything was pretty average but it was better than I expected it was going to be.
