We loved the DIY BBQ facilities and the enternight in the bar at night was great. Food and drink prices were not unreasonable compared with other places in Australia. Very basic - this was the second most expensive room we paid for after Syndey on New Year's Eve, and yet the quality was one of the lowest - but acceptable given the location.

My comments are based on a hotel room rather than a budget room as I received a complimentary upgrade on arrival (due to overbooking). However, I'm sure that the budget rooms would have been just as comfortable, only smaller and with slightly fewer amenities.
