The accommodation was very expensive in comparison to all other places stayed in Australia - a lot of money to pay for bunk beds!!!

Enjoyable stay. Very helpful staff. Recommended Everything we wanted was at hand. The facilities were clean and tidy. .

It was $190/night which was expensive for what was offered. The food in the restaurants was also expensive. There were 2 bunkbeds. We were led to believe that there would be a double bed.

ayers rock hotel is within an hour from the rock and the olgas. the complex offers every amenity possible, and prices for food and groceries are reasonable. however, @ $190 per night, our room could hardly be considered "economy". since we had booked a triple, we were expecting maybe a double bed @ cot, instead of two bunk beds.

you upgraded me to sales resort

There is no competition at Yulara. All hotels and eating facilities are owned by the resort and everything is outrageously expensive. As a budget room it was very clean with excellent air-conditioning and quiet. The bunk beds (4) were very basic and hard. There were no drawers or hanging space.

The receptionist war very unfriendly, made us wait for an hour and didn't even apologize! Very disappointing experience.

Restaurant served only buffet meals . The quality of the food was not as good as expected for the price. Breakfast expensive. very comfortable

Priciest accommodation we had in our stay in Australia and yet the least relaxing, so I guess you're paying for the location. It was adequate but the bunk beds were a bit of a shock. Comfortable though once you got used to them.

It was advertised as a Double room but turned out to be 2 bunkbeds.

Expensive Functionnal

This resorts remote location serves as a perfect base for viewing Uluru etc but it seems to be getting milked to the max. Most expensive accommodation of my time in Oz and poorest quality. Would not consider using this accomodation again. Worst of all we stayed in in Australia. Felt like a prison cell.

We did not like the bunk beds,we kept banging our heads on the bed above, also their was no windows really, the only light was from around the door

Please see comment above. We loved the DIY BBQ facilities and the enternight in the bar at night was great. Food and drink prices were not unreasonable compared with other places in Australia. Very basic - this was the second most expensive room we paid for after Syndey on New Year's Eve, and yet the quality was one of the lowest - but acceptable given the location.

Accomodation at Yulara very expensive - Outback Pioneer Hotel also expensive, but much cheaper than the alternative hotels. My comments are based on a hotel room rather than a budget room as I received a complimentary upgrade on arrival (due to overbooking). However, I'm sure that the budget rooms would have been just as comfortable, only smaller and with slightly fewer amenities.

Helpful overworked staff great room comfortable and clean

very good and it was very clean, also it was different than in mijn contry. we had no bugdet room, we did upgrade the room, the room and the resort were nice and the hole resort was very pleaseart.
