Sorry but this place was a complete rip off. My wife and I ended up sleeping in bunks beds!!!!!!!! We booked what they called a budget room A$206.00, nothing budget about the price. (We were travelling all around Australia and this was the lowest star rating that we stayed in and was the most expensive.) We expected to get a double bed as stated on the web site but when we questioned why we had two bunks beds we were told "well you did book a budget room" The whole resort is run by Voyagers so have a monopoly on everything and can charge what they want but this place left a bitter taste in our mouths and could have spoilt our trip to Australia. Also the excusions to the Rock are very expensive and don't include the A$25.00 per person to get into the park. We would recommed staying in Alice Springs and just visiting Ayres Rock for the day and then flying out in the afternoon. Not a place we would recommend anyone to stay unless you have lots of money to spend and don't mind getting ripped off.

Very comfortable.
see above Although I mentioned this at the front desk, the room was not the one that I (thought I)booked
Considering it is in the middle of the desert it was good value
I expected more for $200.00 per night. Our whole experience in traveling to Uluru was marred by the blatant gouging by the rental car company and the hotel/resort. I realize that this is a remote place; however, my husband and I have traveled to many remote places that are much harder to get to and have not been exposed to anything like this. At least the food and gift shop were on a par with other touris attractions in Australia. I guess no one here cares about repeat business. It is a magnificent area and I didn't mind paying the $25/person to see "The Rock", but I think it is unfortunate that people are taken advantage of by the transportation and lodging industry. Not very tourist friendly.
good service The room was very comfortable
