Otahuna is hidden away in Tai Tapu, just twenty minutes drive from Christchurch city in the glorious South Island of New Zealand. Christchurch is the gateway to the South Island and the magnificent Southern Alps.

Otahuna is an easy 20 minute drive from Christchurch International Airport. The hotel staff can organise all transport details for the guest.

Directions to the hotel (from Christchurch International Airport):

Exit the airport and at the first roundabout follow the sign to Christchurch city.

At the second roundabout, turn right on State Highway 1 towards Hornby.

Continue straight ahead following signs to Hornby and through 5 sets of traffic lights until you come to a roundabout.

At the roundabout take the left turn following signs for Halswell Junction Road. Follow Halswell Junction Road through one roundabout and until you reach the first set of traffic lights at the intersection of State Highway 75.

Turn right onto State Highway 75 towards Tai Tapu and Akaroa.

After 7.5km on State Highway 75, turn left onto Golf Links Road. Go over the bridge and turn right onto Old Tai Tapu Road. Take the next left onto Rhodes Road. After 1.5km, the entrance to Otahuna Lodge Christchurch will be on the right.
