my allocated room was not as per my request. the room lacks a clock. free bottled water not available like in hotels in other cities which are cheaper to book. lighting system and links to light switches do not work or are wrongly wired.

I had to ask to towels and the bed was not made the first day

Response time from room service could be better

We have already sent advice to the hotel as to outstanding and friendly (yet professional) service by an employee. As we were leaving late at night, the fact that we could shower using the pool facilities was very very welcome - much appreciated. room outstanding, but as with so many hotel rooms very poor lighting for mirror!

Bathroom equipment a bit worn out, for showering a 4/5 star hotel in this location should have glass panels instead of curtains ...although this is minor for us.

We had a room on the 3rd floor. There was some sort of night club right above us and it was terribly noisy throughout the night till about 4 am in the morning.

I often book on-line. My on-line requests for a non-smoking room in a quiet part of the hotel are generally NOT noted at the time of booking. It has sometimes been necessary to change rooms after arrival to accomodate my requests.

BEAUITIFUL HOTEL - NIGHT CLUB (NEXT DOOR) NOT SO GOOD - LAUNDRETTE SERVICE OR FACILITY WOULD DEFINATELY BE A GOOD THING

I arrived early in the morning. I was told that the room that I had booked was NOT available and that we could have a twin bed room. Not Queen as we had requested. We were also charged an extra day. Arrangements were unsatisfactory. We had to wait about 3 hours to get the accomodation that we had requested. I spoke to the manager who reduced the rate to half for the extra day. They had already charged someone else for the room that they huuriedly got ready And charged us again for the same room. This is ubsatisfactory. Adequate value although it was described as DeLuxe,it was a good ordinary room.

Breakfast was not included in package. $21.00 (expensive) breakfast was not value for money when compared to other hotels of the same room rate. Insufficient power outlets for laptops and mobile phone charger. No DSL RJ42 cable supplied in the room for internet connection. Obtaining charge cards for DSL connections. Other hotels internet connection can be done on the laptop and charged to the room.

Spent a week at the Holiday Inn Park View and the amenities were very impressive. Havin scales in the bathroom was a good one. Would be nice if someone actually swept or tidied the balcony.

The hotel staff was courteous and most helpful. The location was perfect. The room was comfortable and clean. The pool was wonderful.

The hotel ambience is so and so. No such a vibration during greeting season that should have been. I and my mom were in this hotel 7 years ago during our first trip to singapore with a lot of impression of greet and warmness. My mom was impressed their variety of breakfast.This time, with my wife, was not the same. The reception promised to deliver me the breakfast coupons, but nothing shows up all my 5 night stays. At this price, they should provide personal computer for internet connection. They only have internet LAN slot for laptop.
