No so bad this hotel. The only problem i guess was, if someone had knee problems, they might have difficulty to climb the hill before reaching the hotel.

If the hotel keep their rate below 200SGD or maintain as 200SGD with tax included, definitely i will always stay with Elizabeth at all time during my visit. Another important thing was, it has to come with complementary internet acces. Internet nowdays is not luxury, therefore it should be a basic need for everybody at low cost.

I understand the life guard service is not available at the hotel swimming pool. But I think the design of the swimming pool is a little dangerous. The slanting angle is too sharp i.e it goes from 1 feet to 3 feet in a very short distance and there is no clear signage about the depth of the swimming pool. Kindly look into it.

As usual excellent service on check in and any problems (which are usually few) are rectified promptly.

Ask for one of the refurbished rooms on the 14th or 15th floor and you will get a great new room with all the mod cons.

Have stayed at this hotel over 20 times and would highly recommend them to anyone traveling to Singapore.

My stay in this hotel met my expactations. We booked the deluxe room but they upgrade us to family room. The breakfast was an extra charge, but was good value for money. The hotel location was great, it was in the heart of the city and next to all the big shopping mall.

We spent 3 nights there and have enjoyed every minute ! the location is fantastic, on orchad road, 2 min walk to the main shopping area. It was very convenient also to have a bus stop just opposite the hotel. From there you can catch the singapore airline tour of the city, for only 3$ if you've travelled with this airline!!! it's worth it.
The swimming pool area is fantastic, very pretty, relaxing atmosphere.

The room was very clean and large, the shower fantastic ! air con working very well.

Staff very helpful (our magnetic card did not work) but would need more of them, we had to queue a bit at the reception...not their fault though.

The late check out was also very appreciated !

Even though the hotel facilities are nice. But I have specificaly asked for Early check-in, which dint happen.

The second thing is people in front desk are so illetrate that their english is so bad.

No doubt the hotel is good, but the staff is bad. They swiped by credit card 8 times and advised that the credit payment was declined, after get to know they had charged me 8 times. I had to struggle a lot.

overall the hotel was good, but I dint like staff.

For Muslim and health conscious traveller I found out that your hotel is not suitable for them because of the following reasons.
1. There is no Halal food outlet within your hotel.
2. There is no vegetarian restaurant.
3. There is organic food outlet within your hotel.
4. There is no Qiblat direction signage in the room and nobody from your staff is willing to inform Qiblat direction to Muslim travellers.
5. Your hotel seem to promote unhealthy life style choices such as drinking alcohol.
I hope your management will consult some expert on nutrition on this matters.

Hi,

I have stayed at your hotel three times, including my recent stay.

I liked the hotel the very first time when I stayed there in 1999.

The second time which was a few years later, I found the room I was given noisy, because it was located above the disco/bar. But it was alright otherwise, though the reception desk staff were not friendly and rather arrogant.

The third time, the front desk staff were ok, but not enthusiastic, not that helpful and didn't seem to know that I had stayed there before.

My husband and our one-year old toddler were with me and not much effort was made for a family, such as a speedy check-in, arranging quickly to have the cot in the room or any other simple gestures.

The room was shabby, the bathroom sink didnt drain out well and the tub looked miserable. the toiletries were run of the mill, unlike hotels today that take the trouble to provide high quality shampoos and bubble bath. It would also be nice to have a hose rather than just the shower head for the bath.

Many hotels in Kuala Lumpur have high levels of service, beautifully done up rooms and cost much less than S$230.

Finally, the concierge staff don't stand near the doors to open them for guests or visitors to the hotel. This was disappointing, as on two separate occasions, I was pushing my rather heavy Graco stroller and could have used some help.

Hotel was slightly above average. The staff was friendly and helpful.
I was disappointed that my request 5 months ago for a superior room - smoking room with a king size bed was not fulfilled. I was told that is the problem by making a booking with a 3rd party meaning your company. As such I had to pay $40 extra per night to be upgraded. This upgraded rm was facing the car park. As such we could never have the curtains open.

We liked the central position, the swimming pool with gym facilities and the nice personnel at breakfast and reception.

We found the hotel to be in ideal location for our needs
(sightseeing/shopping). The staff were very generous and courteous with their time in explaining the many places to go (tours etc) and just generally very helpful.
And if we ever visit Singapore again the Orchard Parade
will be our choice of hotel.
