This hotel is ideal for someone looking for somewhere cheap to stay.
It does not offer much in the way of amenities but if all you are looking for is somewhere to sleep and clean up then this is enough.
There are plenty of good cheap places to eat in the area with a lot of bars situated on the same street.
I would stay here again if I was travelling for leisure and on a budget. If travelling for business this would be my back up option.

The room is lacking in a working table and a chair.
Should have internet access.
TV remote control should be kept in the room instead of requesting from reception.

The hotel appears to have many hourly clients-hookers not good for families

There was no window in my room, which made my stay at hotel 81 very uncomfortable. I did not know when it was morning or night as it was constantly dark.

Pity only Milo and 3in1 Coffee mix provided in room. No tea, plain coffee or creamer. I guess one cannot expect too much for the price. Damaged, possibly dangerous light switch (front cover missing)close to kettle! Above bed light didn't work possibly due to this switch. Both items brought to staff attention.

friendly staff very small. noisy aircon which worked as a fan not a cooler. TV reception poor

airconditioning filters need replacing or cleaning.....air con smells really bad. Vacuming needed under bed and clean dust of fixtures...especially on top of wardrobe.

the employees of the hotel were very pleasant and always helpful. we upgraded to a room with a larger bathroom and received a discount for the second and third weeks we stayed. all in all - a really nice place to stay. the room was slightly small for two persons and our belongings, but it was sufficient.
