We stayed at this hotel after reading reviews from others that had stayed there. It was certainly very central to every thing, staff were very helpful and was good value for money. we were with another couple touring around.

Though the Hotel was going through a some contruction in the lobby, the staff was nice and considerate. If you are expecting a wow hotel this isn't it--it is nice and clean and in a very good location. You have access to everything within minutes on the metro and there are some resonabable eating places close by. When it says buffet it means continental buffet. Not like you would expect from a buffett hotel in the states. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend the hotel for the cost cutters. IT is well worth it for the money. My family had two rooms for four people and it worked out quite well. I lived in Paris as a military dependent and it worked out nicely for me.

good: location, seems quite safe, busy even at late hours, convenience store open til VERY late just down the street (not closed even at 12pm)

bad: have to pay for internet access 4.5 euros per hour at the hotel, whereas theres FREE wifi at a macdonalds about 10 minutes walk away

The hotel is superbly located and the staff so nice, friendly and helpful. It's a perfect hotel for a short break in Paris. The room and hotel was so warm, too and we enjoyed our breakfast as well. A cosy little breakfast room. We were so pleased with our stay and will recommend it to our friends.

Clean, comfortable, excellent room cleaning service.
Very good value for money. Centrally located.
Breakfast varied choice .. good value.. and open until 10.30 which was good for us because we are not early risers.. only problem was with their credit card machine when we came to pay and delayed us by half an hour.
No other complaints.. relaxed and private.. it suited us very well. Room a little small but good generous heating stystem as was very cold weather, so no complaints. Tea and coffee making facilities in room would have been good but there are vending machines in lobby.

Hotel unacceptable, Holidaycity thankyou

We arrived at about 4 in the afternoon and the receptionist told us that we have to go to another hotel in Monmarte area (away from subway and away from the area that this hotel was), because they were fully booked although we had arranged all room details one month before, and we had called one week earlier to confirm our booking. There was no duty manager at the hotel and the receptionist was rude and never tried to really find a solution. The only thing she said was "I have no ather solution" again and again and again.
At that time we called "www.Holidaycity.com" from our cellphone. The stuff of Holidaycity was really very helpful and polite. When we told receptionist to call Holidaycity by a hotel phone so as not our cellphone to be charged with international calls, she answered that she had no intention to do so and ....."I have no ather solution".
It was only after Holidaycity stuff called the hotel, and all of a sudden after five minutes she found a solution and gave as a room.
The room was much more smaller than the smaller hotel room i have ever seen in my life and 4 days we were there, although toilet was clear everyday the seeds on the beds were exctacly the same .
The breakfast was OK for this hotel category, but it was served at the very nice basement of the hotel.
The location of the hotel is perfect, since it is five minutes walk from Opera area and 2 minutes (or even less) walk from subway.
I want to thank Holidaycity stuff (i was so nervous i don't remember the name of the woman that answered the phone)because it was after their interference that a solution was found. They even called as at our room later, to find out if everything was OK. Eventhough the hotel was unacceptable.
