Lost my reservation, and check in took a long time. Room service did not speak good english and hung up! Apart from these issues the room was good, the door staff excellent and very helpful

Thank you for asking me to comment but basically no complain,due to the limited days that I stayed. I'm of strong preference of staying in hotel in within/adjacent to shopping complex as convenience is my priority. Thank you.

Ideal for relaxing and shopping- shopping centre is connected.The corridor leading to the rooms are brightly lit, carpet is clean and the air fresh, a sign that maintenance is done regularly too. The beddings are clean and so are the towels! It would be beneficial if a clock is provided for alarm to be set and basic information on check in and out times can be found readily in the room too. Generally a pretty pleasant stay and would recommend the hotel to friends though the rates are a bit stiff for longer stay!!!

Hotel's 5-star grade and proximity to One Utama made it a natural choice of accommodation. Due to short stay, I didn't have a chance to explore the hotel facilities and restuarants except for a 15-min visit to the Gym. I love the Gym as it is equipped with a good range of exercise machines which are well maintained. One of the best hotel gyms that I've been to! I enjoyed my Buffet Breakfast at the hotel very much. I was really spoilt for choice at the wide spread of breakfast selection. On top of that, the ambience of the restaurant was peaceful -right start to the day, the staff were pleasant, polite and attentive, the food was tasty and continuously replenished. Overall, I enjoyed my 3 D/2N stay and would definitely come back again - this time for pure relaxation.

Staff were courteous and attentive. Attends to your queries and comments immediately. Ambience and facilities are great. Shopping and food outlets aplenty just next door. Will be back. Friends recommended by us to stay here found it ideal too.

I have chosen this hotel mainly because of its location is ideal for me – connect to 1-Utama shopping center, 40 minutes away from KLIA and easy access for friends that I wanted to meet.

The Hotel is location is very convenient - with shopping and good foods with-in walking distance.
I will stay in this Hotel for my next visit.

The reception staff (Lenly) was very courteous n approachable.
We were very appreciative to the staff,Lenly. He had taken the initiative to upgrade our rooms to Peridot Club Deluxe when we were informed that ours is not ready for checking in.
Upon checking in, we found out that our power supply was faulty. After making a call to the respective dept, the maintenance officer came to our aid asap.
Very impressive service.

Well when I visited the hotel was in soft launch mode. In my opinion there are a good number of things to be upgraded before they reach their heavily advertised 5 star level.

- the door(s) on my floor looked all scratched due to carelessness of people (workers?? as there was still construction going on)
- the door to my room opened and closed with some good difficulties.
- the door of the bathroom was difficult to close
- the new IP TV system was bad as it was very slow, instable and most channels had banners of "snow" over the screen
- internet connection is expensive, slow and more down than up. When making a mention of it the only thing you hear is that they are working on it, no offers for compensation of the charged fee, no updates on whats going on or when it will be up again.
- no regular taxi available, only the expensive tourist taxi which is significantly more expensive then regular one. For my normal ride I had to pay nearly 4 times more.
- when being seated for breakfast I was seated at a table without any cutlery. Had to specificaly ask for it. They seated me in a cramped up area altough many open tables were avaibale. When the cutlery arrived, I had to ask for a napkin as well. The napkin provided was dirty, as well as the table i was seated on.
- Gym facilities are heavily advertised, however when showing up in sports clothes at the 3rd floor.... you find out the gym is still under construction. No sign no message no nothing. Finally I found out that a temp. gym was set up at another floor..... but why no sign and why doesnt the staff know about it? When trying to use that temp. gym i found out all electricity was switched off. They would send someone over in 30-45minutes to come and take a look!

In short, the hardware of the hotel is not up to speed and the software has some steps to go as well.......

First the good stuff, a) hotel had good link with the shopping mall which was what we went there for - food and shopping b) room was spacious c) nice lobby and looks grand d) staff at poolside barbeque was very friendly and helpful Now the bad stuff a) hot water for coffee available but there was no power point at the mini bar area?? had to bring the pot to the desk to make hot water and coffee b) front desk staff was not friendly and there was not service with a smile. c) request for a late checkout was met with a flat "no" with no reason given. Other hotels at least had the courtesy to say that their hotel was full etc and check out could not even be delayed till 3. d) there was a gift of an alarm clock and a letter of welcome, signed and name of guest handwritten. in the letter there was an extension given for assistant manager and with word, please do not hesitate to contact assistant manager if we can make your stay more pleasant. tried dialling and there was no such extension! tried to get the operator to connect but was told that was not possible. definitely a bit letdown in service, worse to promise and not deliver rather than not promise at all. e) gym not ready generally concept of hotel was nice and the hardware was good, but the software, the service was really lacking, did not feel like a guest but more like a business client only. Dont dare recommend this to friends and associates as the may be let down too
