Overview
A contemporary, understated, luxury hotel designed for guests traveling for business and pleasure. It has sumptuous contemporary interiors which are laced with classicism and houses an exciting collection of contemporary art.
Built in 1907 One Aldwych Hotel London is one of the most important Edwardian buildings in London. The simple dignified building is English Heritage protected built on an island site featuring curved corners, a distinctive copper cupola dome and a mansard of Westmoreland slate.
The elegant Louis seize exterior has a silver-grey Norwegian granite facing with decorative features of garland swags, female-head keystone cornices, and low balustrade balconies. Attractive external ironwork on the large windows adds to the Parisian feel of the delight.
The hotel has four exciting restaurants and bars: Axis Restaurant & Bar, a hip and much talked about restaurant and bar with its own street entrance.
