VERY small room, but the staff were god and the location is excellent.

Front desk staff were courteous, helpful.
Due to no elevator the haul up 4 flights stairs was a bit difficult, but manageable.
No tea/coffee facility in room. Would have been a nice touch, particularly considering the cost.
Position was excellent. Variety of cafes, restuarants, supermarkets, Underground, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, a Pub, bus, all within 5 minutes walk or less.
Beds were OK, squeaky, a bit saggy...I ended up with a sore back.
Breakfast was OK. Yoghurt would be a great addition. I cant have full cream milk ( no other offered), so had to forgo any cereal. English breakfast was good, but was luke warm a couple of times. Do they heat the pre cooked food in a microwave?

I also booked with Holidaycity Royal Norfolk a week before I stayed in this hotel and although Royal Norfolk is slightly more expensive, I'd certainly pick it again. I don't think I'd return to this hotel.

The hotel didn't have many facilities but it was nice and had good service. Also close to a tube station so communications were no problem. We are basically pleased with the room.

I would stay there again. Location excellent

Tea/coffee would be nice

It would have been nice to have complimentary tea/coffee available. The room had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke which was not very pleasent.

I would say this is a bed & breakfast, cannot be called as 2**hotel. Guests have to walk up by stairs to the room and it is run by family Room is pathetically small for its price.

I couldn't believe there were no tea/coffee making facilities in room.

Very good for the price. Very small shower with very poor water pressure.

It was impossible to get a glass of fresh water in the morning!!! We simply skiped the breakfast and got it from a nice cafe near by... The room was so small that we could not open the draws

This is a nice hotel with very helpful staff.

Very reasonable rates. The proximity to transportation is good, and the Paddington area suitable to all our needs.The hotel provided us with all that a larger hotel could. We were very pleased with our room, especially the cleanliness. It could not be faulted.

We felt that coffee and tea making facilities in the room would have made all the difference and a bath mat for the floor would have been good.

Had modest expectations as this is London. Breakfast was better than expected. Room was about size expected. Was quite clean. Wish it had smelled better. Tolerable for 3 nights. OK for London. If the beds were better quality and no smoking was allowed (smoke must rise up from rooms below as ours smelled bad), it would be much better.

You won't find a more friendly staff. Everyone was terrific!! Not cheap and rooms are small, but good value for the money. You can pay a LOT more for hotels in this area. Good English breakfast. (most serve cont'l. breakfast) This is one of the upscale areas of London with high priced real estate. Also popular tourist area. Don't expect large rooms and economy prices. The staff went overboard to make customers happy. Highly recommended. You probably won't appreciate this place unless you've been to London before. :-)
