I've been to Paris many times, but this was my first stay at the Hotel Observatoire Luxembourg. It was great. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were spotless, the bathroom was lovely with a big window, all marble and the cleaning was terrific. I left my safe wide open one day and was pleasantly surprised that all was intact upon my return that evening. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends.

We really like this hotel because of its perfect location. What do you expect to get for $200? Room was small, but we still were happy. very clean which makes a big difference. Get the top floor rooms - great views over Paris. get the room with a 6 in it also - has a nice modern bathroom.

We were disappointed to find that we had been given a room with two single beds pushed together to make one double bed which made the middle section very uncomfortable. Apart from that, everything was most satisfactory.
