A good central location

The Oaks IStay Residences is in a good location and is only a 15 minutes walk from for central Auckland shops, ferries and other transport. The hotel is clean and comfortable and there is a row of shops close by for food and drinks. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and my only complaint would be that the internet connection cost $15 a day, although it was very fast.

Hotel location is good. However, it is rather noisy until the wee hours especially on fridays and saturdays. Room was only serviced once a week. During our 11 days stay, the room was only serviced once. The room was not vacuumed. Would recommend stay if it is only for a couple of days.

The staff were very helpfull. and my room was ready when i got there at 11:00 and was aloud to go to the room before the 14:00 booking in time which was great after a 25 hour flight.. Ideal place and location if visting Auckland..

Our room was clean and modern, the location was excellent, and staff were courteous enough. However, be aware that while visa debit cards are accepted for the purpose of booking your room online, they will not accept that same card when you check in. This caused some consternation when we arrived at the hotel, and we had to scramble around to come up with a $200 cash deposit instead. I was told that they could not accept visa debit cards, although I have used my without any problems at a number of hotels in the past.

We are a couple from India and had been to auckland for our honeymoon. The hotel room and facilities were extremely good. However, the staff service was average. We had to go to the reception ourselves for everything.

This stay surpassed all our expectations.
Best and convenient Auckland location,
Spectacular view from our studio,
Perfect amenities, the contemporary equipment. Helpful staff.
We immediately started to regret not having made Brisbane (QLD) reservations in the same hotel chain !
Unbeknown to us Oaks Residences were in the Brisbane downtown as well. Hope to do so at the end of this year.
