Thought the servicing of our room was very late in the day but have to say the staff were very courteous and obliging.

All in all, I found the accommodation very good. In particular, the Oaks on Collins is in a fabulous location, within easy walking distance to most points of interest. The rooms were very well equipped, and clean. The cooked breakfast was very good and well priced, we also enjoyed the regular happy hour in the lounge bar. The only negatives were that the room we stayed in was very noisy, being located above the pool and airconditioning units. Also the staff were not at all helpful, with communication being an issue because of the language barriers. Would have been nice to have someone who speaks fluent English on reception, in an Australian Hotel.

The kitchen was great cos we usually had breakfast
in. It was fully equipped with fridge, cooker,washer, microwave and toaster.
The bed was very comfortable....only wished the bathroom was a little bigger but it was alright...no complaints

stayed there for 1 night for the football. good value for money with breakfast provided in their nice restaurant. room was cleam and modern.

The hotel was in a great central location and the staff helpful and courteous. We enjoyed our very reasonable and delicious breakfasts. DIning room views were lovely - we did however miss a room with a view, our window looked on to a hotel corridor so the room was rather gloomy. Overal however we would thoroughly recommend this hotel, it was reasonably priced and met our expectations. Next time we will request a room with a view!

The staff were great and I really enjoyed my stay ,
The bar inside the lobby while it has potential , it needed to be promoted and then i am sure it would become a great bar

The Hotel apartment was about the size I expected for a studio room but maybe a bit on the small side The curtains around the bed were not really necessary as they were very filmy and gave no privacy for a couple staying for 4 days
The bathroom area was a big disappointment as it was only a glassed off partition which was very small and gave little privacy. The shelf above the basin made washing, and teeth cleaning very difficult. The whole area is a very cramped space.
The kitchen had a dishwasher, full oven, microwave and small fridge but once again the space was too small to make good use of these facilites. The room is really designed for the business traveller and have the some of these facilities is probably a waste of time.
The upside was that we were given a room with a balcony which made the room very bright and sunny. We had an outlook over the top of the next building which was great. Being on the 17th floor we did get a lot of the city noises drifting up but that is a problem with staying in the city. I felt the furnishings were of a very high standard.
Having stayed in other apartments in the city I cannot say whether I would stay there again or not as it did have some advantages. Did not use the restaurant but the food court on the ground level was great during the week.
The staff were always very polite and helpful.

It said studio room with zen garden view - we had no view at all and in fact had an internal room which was disappointing.

Overall this was great value for money, claen,new and graet location.Would stay here again. You need to be able to turn off light in zen garden,too bright even with the blind shut.We had to use a blanket over the window.

Staff at front desk very welcoming, had a lovely manner. You felt as if you were a valued client. I did not like the fact that I could not see outside because our window faced onto an indoor courtyard. Would definitely stay again but would request room with outdoor view.

think nowadays with high speed internet available in all cities this should be a free service for business travellers well decorated- very pleasant

The gym facilities were excellent. Door handles missing on the bathroom, lock on the balcony door broken.
