we travelled from the uk for a 6 night stay we found the Oaks Hyde Park very convient to the underground station, bars, and resturants close bye. friendly staff an enjoyable stay, would recomend.

The green centre of the city, Oaks Hyde Park Plaza is a tranquil setting, popular with office workers and visitors to Sydney.
Oaks Hyde Park Plaza offers accommodation with sweeping views across the park to the city. It is located a pleasant stroll from the city's department stores, financial and business districts and major attractions, and just around the corner is fashionable Oxford Street with its cosmopolitan strip of boutiques, cafes, shops and nightlife.
The spacious 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, some with inter-connecting rooms, have separate lounge and dining areas and fully equipped kitchens, except Studio suites which have tea and coffee making facilities.
Most are twice the size of average hotel rooms and some have balconies for the best vantage point to take in the district views. There is also a heated swimming pool, spa, sauna and fully-equipped gym.
On the doorstep, Oaks Hyde Park Plaza is a haven for recreation and relaxation. The central pathway through the park is an impressive, fig-lined road linking two of the parks other features, the Archibald Fountain and the War Memorial.
