The distance from Old Dubai and Airport is quite a distance if most of the business meetings are held in the area. Unless one do not mind paying for a high taxi fare (due to the distance), otherwise it's a quite a good hotel.

In addition, the hotel is located in new Dubai area which is another "city" that is still in construction/development and most facilities such as shopping malls and eating out places (not many choices) are not within minutes of walking distance. However, the hotel do provide a list of home delivery from some nearby restaurants which provide pretty good food. One will definitely need a transport to move around the area.

The hotel is definitely nearer to the Emirates Mall where the hotel provides (on the house) a daily drop off at 11am and 4pm. The hotel is also within walking distance to the famous Jumeirah beach.
