The hotel was one of the quietest that I have ever stayed at in London. There was very little traffic or external noise which made for a comfortable uninterrupted nights sleep. Its central location in Southwark made it easy to get around and taxi fares to the main areas were therefore not too expensive. The restaurant meals although not too fancy were excellent and good value for money. All in all this hotel is good value and I would highly recommend it for anyone wishing to spend time in London.

Toilet compartment rather small,and ventilation could be better.

As a doctor, I was seriously concerned that the separate toilet contained no washbasin. I believe that code (and good hygiene) requires that someone who has used the toilet be able to wash his/her hands without having to go (in effect) to another room.
