We were surprised to be charged a daily room-cleaning fee on top of the room charge. We feel that this is not normal, and that we should have been told of this charge at check-in, and offered daily room cleaning as an option. I have not encountered this charge anywhere else. a newly-renovated room - very good

I don't like having a lobby on the 7th floor. The access route to the swimmming pool is awkward and back of house No hotel information booklet available

Would have liked clearer info on restaurant prices. These should be displayed somewhere without having to enter the restaurant first. Please to be given room upgrade on arrival. Overly complicated switch system for room lights. No tariff for minibar. No access to balcony. More info on restaurant/breakfast tariffs should have been provided in room or at least somewhere. Internet access 3 simple steps -nonsense. Far more info on required settings changes should be given.

Had a great sleep and most enjoyable bath

the main lobby is at 7th floor which is a bit troublesome .. You have to change the lifts to approach the rooms which is inconvinient. I couldnt find the pool the view was good but i would prefer a small window that can be opened for some fresh air ..

Staff were very friendly where ever we met them, in the lift or passing through reception. We were always greeted with a smile. Great view, complementary bottle of water was a nice touch. Lighting very good. The bathroom floor is an ersatz marble which can be slippery when wet, but flip flops were provided.

Good hotel and brilliant location next to Clarke Quay, where there are many good restaurants and bars.

Friendly and helpfulll staff. Clean and tidy with good views.

Arriving late at night was quite unwelcoming given that reception is on the upper floor. Coming into an empty foyer was not that nice. very pleased with the room. Thank you

I was tavelling alone and needed a room for myself for only 1 or 2 nights. I booked on the website but was only able to book a superior room and my first choice of a standard room was not available. Consequently I had to spend an extra $150.00 for the room. Perhaps I should have booked through a travel agent??? This was disapointing for me as I noticed the hotel was not busy at the time I was there. Lighting was difficult to operate because signage on bedside switches was too small for those of us who have to wear reading spectacles.

I did not receive newspapers...

Rattling and noisy aircon unit which made it difficult to sleep.

The room is advertised as having a balcony which it did , but was locked and guests did not have a key to open the sliding door to access the balcony !!!

I was not interested in ambience, and did not feel anything particularly special. Front desk staff were great. Experienced some confusion on arrival because the New Otani Hotel is no longer that. It is Novotel! Loved having a view of the Singapore River. Very content with all provisions on this accomodation.

Internet access too expensive.

Its a great location The rooms should have little things like shoe shine polish, phone facilities that indicates a voice message was left for the guess when away etc.

Very well sited hotel both for shopping and riverside dining and entertainment. Will definitely use again.

Outdoor pool was very nice, just wish they had an outdoor spa, Beds were extremely comfortable, rooms spotlessly clean
