THE FRONT DESK STAFF WERE COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL. THE SIZE OF THE ROOM WAS APPALLING - MORE LIKE A BROOM CUPBOARD. I HAD FORTUNATELY JUST LOST A LITTLE WEIGHT, OTHERWISE I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO USE EITHER THE BATH OR THE TOILET. THE DINING ROOM STAFF COULD DO WITH BEING A BIT MORE FRIENDLY. IT IS NOT CONDUCIVE TO PEACEFUL BREAKFASTING, TO HAVE STAFF LOOKING LIKE THE GESTAPO. SORRY, BUT I WOULD NEITHER RECOMMEND, NOR USE THE HOTEL AGAIN MYSELF. AMENITIES IN ROOMS WERE ALMOST NONEXISTENT.

Double rooms should not have a bed aginst a wall

Good location, but thats about the only good thing. You had an in room water boiler, too bad it was all rusty and dirty, and bathrooms were clean, but smelled like a public toilet the hotel has nice rooms for 110 pounds a night, I have a feeling that th internet rooms are single rooms with a double bed squeezed in, Dirty and Small

The pub downstairs was supposed to stay open late on the 31st December and when we arrive they were closed! No heating when we arrive on 31st December, had to sleep with 5 blankets !!

Overall we enjoyed the locale and your wonderful breakfasts.We were able to walk around and take tube from Paddington. There was some noise from young people in the hall outside our door the lst night as we were trying to sleep, but they eventually went to bed (or something) ;also had to open 2+ firedoors to get to our room and this was a bit difficult with 2 suitcases each.

Value For Money globally: only 2 since London is in every respect an expensive place! Value For money as a London hotel: 4! Room comfort clearly below that of reception, lobbies, restaurant and other shared facilities. Particularly dirty/worn wallpapers in my room (407)!
