We really liked the relaxed feeling of the hotel, and were impressed by the breadth of the menu and the generally good food. Negative points: the hotel's handling of the ticketing for the ferry back was somewhat chaotic, and should have been explained. More seriously, we discovered after leaving that we never received an urgent telephone message that was left for us. It was a very pleasant room. It would be good if tea making facilities were provided. Only serious complaint: astonishingly noisy fridge.

More varity in the dishes will be a plus. The Air con is running old and on prolong usage produce loud vibrating noise.

The staff were excellant. The food and eating area by the sea couldn't be any better For the price we thought the rooms were good. However they do need updating and We would rather pay more and have better furnishings. Having said that they were nice and clean

Generally the staff were very helpful and friendly. Shower was not strong enough and perhaps a shelf in the bathroom to put toiletries on.

The taste and portion of the food served at the coffee house is good however breafkast on Sat morning is disappointing. No eggs served and we have to order a la carte. Suggest you provide simple toileteries such as shower gel and shampoo. There are MANY lizards crawling at the balcony and we suggest you can look into this.

Room was nice and big but had a smell of humidity in the begining

A bed and a cold shower, clean, maybe a little expensive for what it is.....

Should have a few more items, such as water flask for boiling water.

Hotel should have provided free transport to shopping/dining or city. Hotel reception area not air-con.

Excellent value budget holiday in a superb location. Very frindly helpful staff. Guest safety and security obviously a high priority, nice to see. I would have no hesitation to reccomend or return myself. Comfortable relaxing well maintained unit.Lack of tea/coffee facility would be my only negative.

The only problem was the smell of musty

The meal service was the worst I have ever experienced. Slow, unresponsive and food only OK. Pizza was the only thing that we could eat on the Sat night. Not fair that you HAVE to eat the BBQ. We went to another resort. Value for money on food was dreadful. I know we are from Singapore but really overpriced and not that good. While the accommodation is cheap-it ends up being an expensive get away as the food is overpriced. We will probably not go again-better to spend the extra for better service. And, if you are going to have to pay more for food why not pay for quality, variety and good service.

The breakfast is Very Bad, maybe you can add some chicken sauage, bake beans and one or two selection of salads to the breakfast. The room is a bit small, but very clean.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Liked the relaxed ambience. It was better than my expectation in terms of cleanliness and size.

The beach which the hotel fronted was, in my opinion, the hotel's biggest selling point. Excellent white sand with a wide choice of beach activities to keep oneself entertained the whole day. Unless one is a regular beach-bum, you might be disappointed as the entertainment facilities offered by the hotel are very much beach/sea based. On the downside, the hotel has only 1 F&B outlet which closes at 9.30 pm so for those who are used to having late night snacks or supper, are recommended to bring along their own goodies. Hotel staff were generally friendly and accommodating. The room was of adequate size to fit 2 adults & a child quite comfortably. Bathroom was exceptionally clean and spacious. Only fault was the wooden-planked floor which creeked quite a bit when walked on.

A children's play area would enhance family appeal. it would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

slow water for bath

The rooms while clean are spartan and need an upgrade re furnishings, facilities etc There is little sound protection between rooms also, contributing to a lack of privacy.
