The hotel has a shopping mall including a grocery store which is very convienient for small purchases. Room service left something to be desired as there were 3 people in the room and staff seemed to be unaware of the situation. I develpoed a serious medical condition whilst staying at the hotel and the staff could not have been more helpful. The services manager personally took me to a doctor after making an urgent appointment. I would recommend this hotel as very good value for money. If you book for 3 people be aware that the price quoted by Holiday City is for 2 people and you will be charged 1 3rd extra for the third person, but still very good value.

They were very good value, considering the location right by the harbour front, only a few minutes walk from the Star Ferry. The hotel is part of the New World Centre which has lots of shops, as well as coffee shops and restaurants which we used for breakfast as a cheaper option to the hotel. We would definitely use again for comfort, convenience and value for money.

When we arrived we were told we needed to pay an extra of 350 HKD plus taxes for one extra bed. We complained but we were told that it was your mistake. That you had been informed of this extra price and we had to pay this supplement. I did not appreciate this mistake, could you please tell me what happened? Hotel smells humidity in some rooms and corridors. In my opinion, corridor carpets are old and should be changed. My name is M-Ines Dumortier and the difference in room rate was on Sunday, Sept 16th.
