We were there to meet someone off a cruise liner [the Arcadia]. Location was perfect. The room was spacious, relaxing and well appointed. The desk could not have been more helpful and allowed us to keep the car park until 1200 h on the checkout day. And all for a reasonable price. Recommended.

Near to Airport bus route stop on Queen St. Check-in was fast. Lounge was spacious with dining table and kitchen equipped with all necessary utensils and washing machine. Suitable for family who wish to do some cooking. Convenience store is just next door to the hotel.

Auckland Tower is within walking distance. City free bus service stops at front of hotel to take you to the pier and Britomart Station.

Halal food outlets are available along Queen St and further up Victoria St West.

You can leave your luggage if you have to check-out early.

The hotel was in a great location and the staff was very freindly and helpful

The staff were most helpful. The hotel was in a very convenient location as we only just needed to walk down to the harbour and up to the Edge where we attended a concert. Although we did not eat at the hotel as times of the restaurant did not suit while we were there we did try a restaurant (just up the road that was in the info book in our room) and found them to be very good and reasonably priced.
Didn't quite like the split in the double bed mattress though (two singles pushed together I think it was).
We enjoyed our sstay and if attending another revent like we went to (Priscilla Queen of the Desert) we would stay there again as it was so handy.
They arranged shuttle to airport as well, most helpful.

The hotel is located right in the heart of Auckland city.
The room was comfortable although our friends who were sharing the 2 bed apartment found their room to be claustraphobic as there was no window. Overall good value for money.

Excellent hotel, conveniently located. We only stayed 1 night but would have no hesitation in recommending it to others. We thought the staff were very helpful and our room was very confortable and surpassed our expectations.

We were travelling in a campervan and spent our first night in the hotel recovering from jetlag. We were able to keep our luggage securely locked away whilst we explored Auckland prior to picking up the van.

We thought the hotel was more than adequate for an overnight stay or a visit of longer duration. You could not be more centrally located and we even had a view of the sky tower from our bedroom window!

Travellers must be aware that sometimes we can safe some money to be spent in other subjects when travelling.
Hotel President is one good choice for that.
The hotel is located in a central area of Auckland, just some meters from the famous observation tower, Queen street and blocks from the harbour, where most ferries leave for other closer islands.
It is a modest hotel, clean and with a courteus staff.
The breakfast is good enough to give you strengh for the new day coming.
Surprisingly it is quite, once the hotel is really downtown, facing traffic and all the noise that a large city offres.
Right in front of the hotel you can find easy transportation to most of pleasent commercial areas.
Of course it is not a luxurious hotel, but anyway you are there to be out, getting to know the city.

We are particularly impressed by the helpfulness of the staff in providing tour and eartery information.

Major areas of improvement:

1. More reliable in-room wireless internet service (WIFI), ideally free to guests during stay in the hotel.

2. Bed size can be bigger esp in width for anyone over 70Kg.

3. More Proactive information to incoming guests regarding airport pickup, esp. for first time customers.

Double Pane the Windows. Bungee jump screams at window height at 2 a.m. are excessive. Lots of young people on the street till 3 a.m.

Very good location. Staff was responsive. Buses right out the front door and others close by is convenient. Cabs are too expensive.

Arrived early, for check-in, due to international flight, but receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly and checked us in early so that we could sleep!

Well situated and the staff were very helpful when I needed to find a doctor! The cot provided was not safe for my child - it kept collapsing inward and she could climb out despite not being able to walk yet!

Considering it was in the centre of Auckland it was good value for money, but would like some amenities like a cafe/bar etc Second bedroom very small, had no window

Room was good and comfortable.A few extra channels in the television could have been better.

Ideally located in CBD. Desk staff very helpful both on early arrival and throughout stay. We were absolutely delighted with the size and amenities in the room.

Esp the Bathroom was quite dirty, floor was not cleaned, dust from several days on ground
