Comment on Hotel :
Staff were fantastic and efficient and breakfast was superb. did not like smoking in the lounge lobby. Hotel getting a bit old and tired, needs some refurbishment. there are a lot of other newer hotels as competition, but the Montien is a great introduction to medium priced accommodation in Bangkok. Next time I would probably stay at the Oriental because of its beautiful position on the river and its fabulous outside dining terrace on the river.
Comment on Hotel Room :
Could hear television from next door room and other guests closing their doors. This was quite disturbing.
