I found the staff to be quite rude when they messed up our accomodation I had booked two months previously

We obtained a special offer from this web (http://www.holidaycity.com) so we had a discount on the rate of the room, and that was a positive point The room was a bit small, but i suppose all the accomodation in Paris is expensive and not too big
