Nice and comfortable; sorry there was no window to be opened.

Friendly & Polite service - like an old fashioned English Hotel. Air conditioning was easy to work, more than can be said for of the systems we met.

Baggage handling: We were very impressed with the quietness in the room from any traffic noise. Remarkable for an inner city hotel. Only do not let people trample up and down the steel fire escape steps.

The breakfast spread was very good. The bathroom is very nice. Room was comfortable but unfortunately we would have preferred a room with bigger windows so that we don't feel so enclosed.

Wefound it a little dificult operating the lift and it would have nice to have a porter to assist with out baggage.This did not mar our enjoyment at the hotel. The window did not let in any daylight.It would have been much nicer if the window let in some daylight.

Breakfast was excellent for us also. The connecting room was brilliant for our family. It was a perfect set up for us.

Hotel was offering one night free stay for every two nights. Very disappointed that this offer was not given to me.Reason given to me was unsatisfactory. Staff could certainly learn to be more friendly and helpful, instead of being rigid. soap and toilet paper were not replaced daily when they ran out.

It would be handy to have a shower cap in the room.

Information on air conditioner controls were not readily avaiolable or understandable. Also the thermostat did not seem to work as the conditioner did not turn itself off. Also the bar fridge motor was noisy enough to disturb sleep.
