Did not think that the room was a superior twin room. More like a standard room. we had a extra bed in our room which made it small and also has an adjoining door, which was locked but felt less secure

There was no bar facility, the spa was closed, it wasnt in an ideal loaction for getting to the sights and meant a lot of walking. I have stayed in better quality 3 star hotels The room was untidy and certainly wasnt superior, there was wallpaper peeling off the wall, the bathroom tiles had mould and mildew

I was very impressed by the staff. I arrived quite early and they very happily allowed me to book in as the room was available. This sort of flexibility would encourage me to stay at the Metro again.

Needs to be refurbished as looks like a 70's hotel Needs to refurbished as doors/walls etc need to be modernised and repaired eg slide door didn't work

Good value for the price. Scorch mark from iron on bench but otherwise room and facilities were excellent for the price.

We were able to enter the hotel early hich we greatly appreciated due to illness. We asked for a double bed and were given two single beds. We had to ring twice and wait for over two hours to recieve linen for the sofa bed for our sick son who we had to wake up when they finally arrived. The card for the lift wouldn't work and the room wasn't cleaned although we were out for over four hours at a time with the sign placed on the door. This did in fact have a great bearing on the quality of our holiday that we had saved and planned with high expectations.

Excellent service all round. Friendly staff available 24 hours A little small for the type of room but still a good size compared to the majority of places out there.

Receptionists were pretty friendly. Prices for the rooms are, to me, quite costly but i guess, if you want a central location, then that kind of price is unavoidable. Comparing with other hotels, i would say Metro Hotel Sydney is still rather affordable. No SAFE was provided in the room but not a big issue.

Unwillingness to see to guests needs and poor co-operation from hotel staff. One of the worst hotels I have ever come across

Metro Hotel on the Pitt more cleaner.

We mostly found the hotel to be very pleasant but some of the tour groups staying on our floor were very noisy in the morning.

Well situated for main railway station. Reception staff efficient but unfriendly. Disgusting breakfast, unless you are into warm slices of processed meat product (ham?) floating in oily grease to go with your congealed cold scrambled egg.

My room was great. I had a friend staying in the same hotel whose room was small and awkwardly designed.
