Staff is very nice & helpful. This hotel is in very good location, it's close to everything. But the room amenities are not enough, no sleepers, no toothbrush & hair blush.

For affordable accomodation for travellers needing to be near Central station Mtro Sydney Central is a good option. Smallish rooms and small bathrooms but comfortable and clean.

Metro Hotel Sydney Central is a good hotel to stay especially if you bring your child with you. The location is faboulous as close to china town, market city and all good places. We booked via internet and informed that we would bring our child. We didn't expect any special arrangement and the three of us had prepared to sleep in one double bed as in other hotel in other cities. But surprisingly there are 1 double bed and 1 single bed for us. Moreover there are 3 towels and other amenities are prepared for 3 people. Thank you for the thoughtfull preparation. We will surely recommend this hotel to all our friends.

What a fantastic location. We were able to walk down and watch the Dragon Parade plus grab a quick bit to eat in Chinatown. The staff were very helpful and we were lucky enough to score a free upgrade of room. We will certainlt return to the Metro Central next time we are in Sydney.

The hotel room we stayed was very cosy and clean and is above our expectation. Cheers to the housekeeping team, keep it up! Hotel location is great with the light rail station within 2 minutes walk from the hotel and easy access to darling harbour and star city. We strongly recommend this hotel to other travellers to Sydney. Will definitely stay in this hotel again.

My family stay in this hotel met my wxpectations.the standard room have two comfort double bed.the hotel location was excellent. the staff was very helpful. its valuable for the price. I recommend staying at this hotel for a few nights.

Well placed on Pitt Street, near Chinatown, monorail and the main train station - provides good value for money

When we arrived at the Metro Hotel, it was too early for check in, but since the room is ready, the receptionist told us that we could check in directly. This is a good service.

Our favourite place for dining is around Sydney's China Town area. This hotel is close to this area, so we did not find any difficulties to have various foods. This a good location.

The hotel is right in the heart of the city with walking distance to the harbor!
The view was amazing and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Short walk from Central station. Airport to Hotel in no time. No fuss, no hassle.

The hotel was satisfactory only because it was cheap and central. The room was quite unpleasant with worn carpets and very poor decor. The bathroom was awful with a bath no one would wish to bathe in anda jagged and broken soap dish.
I did nothong but sleep and shower in this room.
I was also troubled by noise from the ajoining room.

The stay in the hotel was adequate, the room was small and a little worn around the edges. The coffee and tea facilities were ok, but it was a bit awkward to get the plug into the socket underneath the table.

The staff were reasonably polite, but not forthcoming with service. We had to get access to the pool separately. The elevators were a bit dogdy one lady who we met staying at the hotel had been up and down the elevator about 8 times before getting access to her room.

Overall it was an ok hotel, but I don't think I got value for money.

Arctic air con with no controls in the middle of winter was annoying. But you get what you pay for and it was reasonable value overall

It was really hard to access the swimmingpool. The only way is to use the 3rd lift, wich was off, so they suggested to use the fire exit, what had only one doorhand from inside, so they suggested to use a brick to keep the door open. Unfortunately I left home my travelbrick... Additionally the card reader in the lift sometimes doesn't work, so I spent a lot of time in there. There is no any way to access internet in the room. The modem access what is written on the home page is not exist.

We had booked for a superior queen size but there was a single bed also in the room taking up a lot of space.
