It has been very noisy because of the buildings in the neighbourhood.
The bed has been old because we come together in the middle every night.
The staff on the reception was very kindly und helpful.

Upon arrivng at the Metro hotel we became disappointed very quickly. For starters the hotel staff were not friendly and I know we were staying Christmas Day but we would have thought their resaurant would be open as they are a hotel dealing with international tourists. We were staying there because I had a relative arriving on Christmas Day from overseas! So for Christmas Day we went to the Burswood resort for an expensive and beautiful dinner.

During our stay we wanted to use the pool which is not located under one single bit of shade,keeping in mind it was a low 40 degrees over Christmas. The grass was dead, actually non existant, the water fountain was in disrepair. To top it off the hotel staff expected us to use our bath towels at the pool.

I had to use the laundry facilities whilist we were there which was fine until I found a used needle in the laundry room. Staff getting bored or do we accept undesired guests? I have three young children so as you can understand by this time I was not happy nor feeling safe.

During this time I went to bath my children to find there was not any hot water. We phoned reception but it wasn't until I actually walked down to the front office that the office girl did anything about it. A lady did attend to us quickly to advise us that the hotel workman was away for the day and for some unknown reason our hot water came back. The next day our hot water was so hot we couldn't stand it.

My partner checked out for us and he even commented on how unfriendly the staff were and felt we would never be welcome to the hotel again.
Over all we found it over priced for what we got. The room itself was revolting and not worth the $150 per night. If the hotel we usually stay at wasn't fully booked we would have stayed there as we can get an apartment for $180 a night.

The hotel is in such a perfect location and has so much potential but unless things improve you won't find me back there again.
And they advertise the hotel is recently renovated, that is false advertising! Isn't it? If you feel that this letter is inappropriate to post that is fine. You wanted to hear from me so I responded. We live in the country and have to rely on hotels for accommodation, so its important to my family and myself that we are comfortable during our stay in Perth.

Most impressed with front desk staff and efforts to help us solve a problem (not hotel-related). Very professional and friendly as well. lack of a window that could be left ajar at night meant we had door to balcony open and wondered if that was really safe

good service i am very satisfied with the bed and the facilities provided, but i was quite disappointed with toliet door as it can;t be closed properly. and the window door couldn't be open.
