All perfect, the staff, the room, the location, the clanliness. Highly recomendable

As tourists we particularly enjoyed the location, being close to Hyde Park/Botanical Gardens, the city centre, Darling Harbour and Central Station. As we had just a few days to stay in Sydney, this perfectly suited our needs. Also, we appreciated having a safe in our room.

Hotel is located close to Town Hall station, just hop onto the Train at the airport to Central then change to Town Hall. Excellent location for the CBD and Sydney's main attractions.

Value for money and comfort.

A light continental breakfast(coffee and croissant) included in price would be an enticement.

The hotel was in a great location to be able to get to Darling Harbour (a short 10 minute walk), Chinatown, and Circluar Quay (short cab ride or long walk). Hotel staff was courteous but not overly customer service driven. Breakfast buffet in hotel restaurant attached was decent.

Fantastic loaction loved the shower!!

As with most Hotels I think the TV movie price is too high when you compare with the local video hire stores so should be cheaper in fairness to the customer

Restaurant was only open for breakfast, so late night meals were a problem. The lobby was small, and with the elevator right off the street I felt a bit unsure about security, but there were no incidents. Staff was very responsive and helpful. Size was fine. Bathroom was excellent. It was basically quiet, which surprised me. Liked the television selections (Arena would be nice too!)

the room was hard to use, power plugs not existant, airconditioning hard to alter, no plug for bath. small and basic. not like other rooms in other metro chain we have stayed at.

Metro on Pitt is a rather small hotel, but it is quite cozy. The extra bed was in a bad condition. It literally sinks down when you lie on it.

The bathroom was modern and clean, bedroom needed modernisation. Our main complaint was that the cleaner of our room did not do the job properly. We noted over a few days that the floor was not hoovered properly and the bathroom floor was not cleaned to a high standard. Additionally the cups and glasses we used were not washed up and put back in the correct place.

Scurity was very good, use of room card to gain access to lifts. Staff very nice and freindly. Only issue was not providing a proper second bed. I booked a twin room as my adult daughter was with me. There was a queen bed in the room and then a folder bed that was not very comfortable for an adult to sleep on. I did ask for this to be changed (first day there) to a proper bed but this did not happen in the four nights we stayed.

Great location walking distance to all the main attractions. Reception very helpful. The room was a bit small for a superior room, other than that i could'nt fault it.

The location is within walking distance of Darling Harbor. The Town Hall tram stop is only a few blocks away and two tram stops from there gets you to Circular Quay. Also within walking distance are Chinatown and Paddy's Market. The air conditioning did not work for three of the five days we stayed there. The staff was accomodating, brought us a fan, and even moved us to another room at one point. Still, I wish we could have had A/C.

I left my tie in room 109. Contacted Metro last week, so far no reply. I am a bit disappointed with lack of response. Too many moths in the room
