Breakfast variety was awesome & so delicious.

I arrive around 3pm and check in but they said the room not ready yet. The receiptionist ask me to wait for 1/2 hour but i refuse. So i get a room which is not smoking room and outside the windows is a hotel carpark.

Keep up the Old World elegance of the Hotel,it distinguishes itself from all others in this respect. A minor issue-5 lights were not working but staff were quick to rectify the problem when notified,otherwise one of the best places weve stayed at.

All is fine in this hotel. However, my apartment bathroom had problem.

A bit far from the town, tourist spots and bazaars. Had to spent quite a bit on cab fares. Hotel staff need to smile more. Had asked for connecting rooms but they did not reserve them for us. However they offered us a family 2-room suite instead at the same reserved price of 2 double rooms, which we accepted.

1) Check-in was held up as the room was not cleared yet when we reached the hotel around 11 am. Told it would be ready by 1 pm but they couldn't confirm it. When we came back after 5 pm, the earlier reserved room was still not available and hence we were given another room. It would've been fantastic if the hotel could provide us 3 Queen or King size beds instead of double beds.

My suggestion would be some rotational breakfast offerings at Aurora Courts so that i would see more different dish/items the following day. I was delighted to be upgraded fm a deluxe to a 2 beded apartment.

Reception was very helpful. Not all lights were working. Carpet not very clean.

WAS SUPRISED TO SEE THE STANDARD ROOM SO SMALL AND WITHOUT VIEW OF THE FIELD. HAD IT BEEN TOLD TO ME EARLIER I WOULD HAVE TAKEN ANOTHER BIGGER ROOM.

Good location. But lobby could be grander. Would prefer the second bedroom in the suite to be twin beds instead of double bed.

Grandiose lobby, nice colonial touches here and there. Pool is OK, disco gets a little noisy. Overall not quite five stars, but still good value for money. A little old-fashioned, but no complaints.

Marvellous hotel in a very good location, just next to all of the historical buildings and close to Jonkers Street. Fantastic room with two balconies and a lovely bathroom. .the T.V. reception was also very good.

I stayed with comfort and pleasant hospitality - value of services worth more than the price. Every facility was perfectly coordinated and arranged.

Its near to the Sarawak Museum but a bit far away from the shopping and food area. Wont know where the food areas are unless we use the map. Generally, very clean and comfortable. Tastefully furnish as the hotel is quite new.
