Staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. Facilities were great with large rooms and beds and an onsite Jacuzzi. The biggest drawback was accessibility to the hotel. The hotel is located at the bottom of the very busy Queenstreet (on the left hand side - when driving south). Additionally, only a small loading zone is available in which to park and and unload. The loading zone is frequently occupied by commercial vehicles and other hotel occupants. As parking is provided by valet only, I recommend calling 15 mins ahead when you want to leave the hotel.

The hotel pleased a lot us, but we are not really satisfied with our stay, a lot of music noise prevented us from sleeping well, it seems to me that it came from the night club otherwise the breakfast impécable and the service also.

As our Room faced a laneway at the back we were kept awake until after 3AM by a noisy Nightclub both mornings of our stay. Would never stay there again.Unacceptable.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was light and bright and tastefully decorated!

Not expensive, so what there was was good, but a shame no restaurant or real bar. No outside aspect and noisy from air conditioning units (several)just outside the window, but as we were only there for one night, it was not too bad.

I thought the people were very friendly - especially at the front desk. And very helpful. I was happy with the room, but felt it was just a little rundown - as in getting old. For example, the shower wasn't very good.

Centrally located. Close to shops, eateries and wharf.

As we could not leave the child in the room alone in an insecure cot, we used room service which was quite slow and the food was very poor. The cot provided for an 18 month old was low on the ground and rather small so that it was not secure. It made it difficult to leave a child in strange surroundings to go to sleep when there was the risk of climbing out of the cot. A larger wooden cot would have been much better and ensured everyone got some sleep.

It would be useful to provide information on the free shuttle bus to the Fish Market. It was one of the highlights of our trip. It was perfect to be able to enjoy the excellent New Zealand Seafood in the small kitchen that was profided.
