Staff were very helpful and friendly, Location was great and easy walk to where ever I needed to go. I loved the fact that I had a high speed internet connection in my room for a very resonable price. However the room was almost always freezing cold and the sheets were never changed I even noticed a few stains on the bed spread and top sheet on my last night. The bathroom was also never very clean in either. There was remnents of shampoo and shaving foam from my first shower present until my last day. Other than that my stay was very pleasant.

Found the staff very friendly and very helpful.Coming in and out of the hotel the staff always said hi to us and that was nice as we didnt know anyone else in wellington.Being smokers it was so lovely to have a smokes room,so after a long day we could come home and relax with a coffee and smoke.The negs were i dont handle traffic noise at all ,and it was very noisy all day and night.Found it strange it only had 1 lift for all the rooms and floors.and waiting time was at times a long time.Aso for my mum and i our age group found it just a little to far from the centre,as we were walking everywhere and had to get a few taxis.But We would certainly recommend the hotel and staff and the rooms were beautiful

The hotel entrance is not very well indicated, I went to the building (some kind of hotel) next door thinking that it was the Mercure entrance. No heating in the bathroom and windows are no sound proofed.

Bed too big for room. No proper shelf for suitcase. More shelf/table space needed for putting mugs, plates, etc. on.
